Merlin 301: The Tears of Uther Pendragon Pt 1

Oh show! You may have those who knock you but there are soo few shows out there that give me this much joy and for that, if nothing else, I love you.

Things to love:

• Merlin bantering with Arthur in front of his men and Arthur allowing it. You just know the knights are rolling their eyes at each other and taking bets on when the wedding will be announced. *dollop head*
• Morgause back in her armour had me swooning all over the place again. Please let there be more of this!
• Every scene with Uther! Especially the reunion with Morgana. I know she was playing him but he was so utterly genuine. I love Tony Head & would have liked to see a bit more of deranged Uther. Maybe in next part.
• Arthur's utter allegiance to Uther was played beautifully. I love that he showed such respect to his father. Maybe he is afraid of becoming King but I think he recognised that he wasn't ready. IDK. 
• The whole show looked beautiful as well. The opening scenes in the forest with fog was gorgeous!
• Morgana's clothes yet again leave me breathless. I want her to hand around just so we can see more of them.

Things to dislike:

• Morgana's acting was, I'm sorry, really bad. I never really believed she was gonna be a goodie but at least if she played a baddie well we could believe it. 
• Gwen not being in this episode enough. BOOOOOOO!

Plot Bunnies for sale:
While watching this ep I thought what if every time Merlin performs magic around people, unbeknown to him (or them) they get a little bit addicted to being near Merlin. Since he's done it so much to/around Arthur, the prince is somewhat obsessed and can't figure out why. Yeah, this is how my brain works now.
