Sorry for the spamming today but I had to post this one last thing that put a smile back on my face. In the video below are Misha Belfer and Mitchel Kibel who were the male dance team in the recent So You Think You Can Dance? controversy (which you can read about over here and watch here.)

I hadn't heard about that controversy, as I don't watch the show. It's boggling to me that the judges act like all dancing is couples man/woman dancing. Have they never watched country line dancing, chorus lines, Greek or Russian guys dancing together? It's embarrassing that they are acting in a professional capacity and yet have such a limited knowledge of dance.

I think you hit the nail on the head re them being "professional". I can't believe they work in the industry and have never seen any kind of male/male dance team. Their laughing during the dance and immaturity when commenting showed exactly the kind of people they are.

And the whole "Who's the guy/girl?" thing made me sick.

Honestly I didn't like Nigel Lythgoe years ago when he did one of the first of those Pop Idol shows. He was kind of a fore runner to Simon Cowell but didn't have Cowell's ability to spot talent.

I have to admit, I didn't watch the judge's reaction. I just couldn't take it today, since I'm still fighting anger/sadness over related things.:( I just don't think I could stomach it, but I've read about it. I'll watch it, though, another day, when I can handle it. Watching them dance was awesome!

Yeah, the judges 'comments' are something you should only watch if you're prepping to rip someones head off.
