I actually said last year that Arthur/Gwen might be a het ship I can go for... this year? Not so much. It feels too far too fast. I can't see any real reason for their feelings other than Gwen bitch slapped Artur about his attitude, which I appreciate her doing but there needs to be something more than that.

And from Gwen's POV I can definitely see why she might have feelings for Arthur because he's the prince and all manly and such and she probably had some girlhood crush on him but it needs to be more than that because Gwen is truly kick arse. She is strong and resilient and can stand up fro herself when need but she would not just fall for a pretty face!

Lancelot I really like but again it felt too fast with him and Gwen. Can they stop shoe-horning ships in and just tell good stories. We will create the ships ourselves. :-)

Other things I liked:

Arthur smiling a lot in this episode... okay well a little... and mostly at Merlin.
Arthur talking to Merlin about how he could never be allowed to love a servant because he was TOTALLY talking about his feelings for Merlin and not Gwen.
Morgana being fucking amazing with a sword.
Morgana calling Gwen her 'friend'. Thank you to TPTB for our femslash pairing.
The guy, Hengus, Hangus, whatever for being quite a good baddie. was kinda sorry he died... or they could just bring him back with huge scarring and a bit Arthur hatred later. Me likes that thought.
Morgana using her sexuality to plot an escape rather than having it used against her.
Just Gwen in every scene from when she was standing up to Hangus to when she was crying in her cell. Amazing.
