Hawaii Five-0 122: Ho'ohuli Na'au (Close to heart)

It's only been a couple of hours since I watched this episode and already I'm desperate for the next one. BUT before I get ahead of myself...

Since I haven't done an episode review on H50 yet let me just sum up quickly how I feel about the show. Basically it's like my crack (or secondary crack because, Glee exists and is total crack), It's the show I look forward to every week that will give me explosions and beautiful scenery and great banter and awesome ladies and manpain and laughter and Ohana rolled up into a nice 40min package. 

Now this week:

 

 

Who was the guy playing the photographer? Super creepy face and not very good acting. I wasn't too upset when he didn't last passed the opening credit. The explosion was amazing though.

 

"This is Daddy's world!" LOL. And Steve was so impressed by Danny. I mean it brings up a whole set of other questions about Steve's daddy issues that need closer inspection. 

 

Kamekona makes every episode 100% better. I do wish they'd stop treating him like some kind of island hick though. I felt there was a bit of a slide back on that in this episode.

 

Kono scenes with the boy were sweet (i Can't remember him name :( Oh and she was his first kiss but obviously not the other way around LOL.

 

I want Chin's tech desk thing not because it is an amazingly cool toy but because he got super amazing clarity zooming in on the bookie's car and his FACE. Especially considering the wide shot was blurred. 
 

There was not enough banter but then there never is for me. The scene on the bench at the end with the little surfer girl was sweet though "Danno don't swim" :) and a nice shout out to a great charity.
 

Oh and CHIN I want to hit you over the head for being such and idiot. I don't know what's made him value his own life so little but I want someone to shake him open. Maybe Malia, Can she come back asap!

OMG it's like all the best manpain!fic rolled into a real goddamn episode! Can it be next week now? I mean seriously they can't do anything in this episode that won't have the fangirls squueeing, right?

I had to look him up - he's 62. He might look better if he was actually allowing himsel to look like a senior citizen.
