Glee 219: Rumours

First off, SAM! Oh my lord I actually teared up. I thought it might end up being something like this but the way he played it was perfect. And breaking down when he looked at his guitar was perfect because no words could possibly come close to explaining the emotion you feel when someone give you part of your life back. Beautiful! Nice to get to know a bit more about him as well. He always felt a little 2D to me.

 

Was it a secret to the Glee club that Santana is gay? I didn't think so but their reaction says otherwise.
 

Sue in Bowie costume looked amazing! My love for Jane Lynch knows no bounds. 

 

I thought the needed to do a bit more on Artie's insecurity about what he can offer Brittany, or any partner. This felt a bit force and waaayyyy too quickly dealt with.
 

Santana's Songbird was beautiful and I love the complicated way they are showing her coming out journey. Unlike Kurt, Santana is really not comfortable accepting her sexuality. She has spent years building a persona to project to the world and it's going to take time to peel that away. And just because other people are out it doesn't mean that she is ready to do the same. I'm a big believer in everyone being able to pick their own way to come out and I hope Santana get that opportunity.

 

Oh but Brittany saying she'll ask her to prom on Fondue for Two was just too cute. I want to see that like burning. Say what you like about Brittany, she is not afraid to be herself.

 

Now let me just say, I LOVE Kristin Chenoweth and I think April Rhodes is a good character BUT I never really felt like that character made sense in the show. This episode was better. Her plot actually had a purpose rather than just shoe horning her in.
