Torchwood 302: Children of Earth Pt 2
These comments are all over the place so be warned.
The one thing I have to say is that JB really doesn't let ANY reason to be naked pass him by, does he? Come on, we're all in agreement that it was JB himself being all up with the nekkid, yes?
Also, we now know there is absolutely NO WAY to actually kill Jack... just wanted to clear that up.
Does this mean we get a completely new Hub next season? Also WHY is no one worried about Myfanwy??? What happened to her? ::eppp::
Lois!!! You rock. I knew you'd end up being so cool once you started nosing around but I loved seeing it come to fruition.
"We want a pony." LOL but let me repeat, scary kids are SCARY.
Oh Rhys! I'm pretty much already as much in love with you as a queer gal can be but you make me smile and laugh and melt every time you come on screen, both for how wonderful you are and how you support Gwen in everything she does. And how awesome was she with the ambulance guys... and hanging off the side of the JCB shooting the bad guys... and those trousers... with those boots... I think I have new kinks.
I would have thought a pre-arranged emergency meet up point would have been something Torchwood would have at the top of their list. I DO NOT like my team being separated. Also, Gwen honey, when you're on the run you really shouldn't try to use an ATM. Surely this is part of Super-Sekrit-Training 101.
PC Andy, I both want to hug you for being so loyal to Gwen but then Gibbs-slap you upside the back of the head for leading the bad guys STRAIGHT TO HER!!!
Ianto, oh Ianto. I wanted more of your quippy lines in this ep but I still had a huge squee that you weren't going to leave your man behind no matter what. Just, YAY!
Also Ianto's sister is so interesting. Their little meeting in the playground had me begging for more. Love the line Ianto said about "[Dad] pushed me too hard, he alway did!" Very telling.
Does anyone else really NOT trust the 456 guy? You know, the one who "translated" the message from the aliens? Just saying the guy was giving me big heebee-jeebbies even before he went OTT at the end of the ep.
Just a note on JB's acting: I have never seen him looking so emotionally naked and vulnerable as he looked in the quarry waiting for the guys to get out of the car. His eyes were completely broken and he almost looked, dare I say it, afraid.
Why was there no sorry-you-got-killed hug this time? I like those hugs. Bad, Janto!

Lois and the "I'm a PA, it's what I do" line made me laugh - I really hope she's going to be a newbie for the show, saying that I am slightly nervous she may not survive.
I was annoyed they were only going to do 5 eps in one run but I'm actually really liking it all being about one stoyline and therefore being so detailed and involved.
I must confess I keep thinking throughout the ep - why doesn't someone call the doc?
Also, I thought Mickey was joining the TW team? That's the impression I got from the end of Dr ?

Yeah where is Mickey? Hmm... maybe he's off doing something else Sooper-Sekrit.
I hadn't really thought about the doc except when we first saw The Hand in the rubble. I thought it would have been hilarious if it was the docs.
Yeah I'm much liking the nightly treats but I think I'll go into super downer on Saturday.
I also want to share this icon with you because I love it but I never get a hance to use it.
