I have a new user pic and those in the know can figure out I have a new fandom too. I just LOVE these boys so much! In ridiculous amounts to be honest for someone of my age who SHOULD KNOW BETTER. but I don't care. You gotta get the happy where you can, right?

Otherwise I have no other news to share as of yet. Real life is... real life. So I find myself relieving the stress with boys who have better make-up skills than I ever will and a wife to die for.

P.S. I was going to ask what was up with so many on my flist being mentally into Jonas Bros at the moment but people in glass houses got in the way. :-)

Nope... I am a dork. Zombies kind of freak me out? It was the one 'Concessions'? I agree, astolat rules all of my schools writing wise. (Time of Your Life, after Woke Up Married is one of the main reasons I got sucked into the fandom. I don't know if I should thank her or send her a bill or something. ;))

OMG. YES. See, when I read it most of the time I have to find them in pretend world with Kris not married. It is the weirdest thing, after years with seriously lacking forms of morals about it now I get uncomfortable? I think it will wear off, but since my wedding I had to break up with two seperate pairings cause people would make like... half assed excuses about their wives being horrible and that is why they are 'allowed' to date and then all I can think is, "But... she is at home. Waiting for him. She loves him." and my heart aches... which is probably the lamest thing I have said about fandom in a while, but I am pretty lame, haha.

TARTAR SAUCE. SERIOUSLY. He said it in a tweet a few months back (which, if I remember correctly just said, "I lost my phone. Tartar sauce.") and I just... wow. He is like all Disney princesses brought to life? And he has that 'Aw Shucks' smile thing and the fact that he really means what he says and yes... I am girly giddy over it.

I am hella stealth, like a ninja. ;) I mean, not that I am constantly worried that my flist isn't going to jump ship screaming, "OMG NO MORE AI" or anything. Swears! ;)

Oh well if zombies aren't for you maybe its not the best fic to read because they way she presents it all really humanises them and, well, reminds you that they are people or once were anyway. Heavy stuff.

Yeah that was what always bugged me about the partner thing in RPF's too and honestly I'm still not 100% comfortable with it most of the time. I think I can just about find enough of a disconnect between X-the-character and X-the-person to help me enjoy the fics as a whole but I still hate when a writer is dismissive of either Adam or Kris's partner. It's a big turn off.

I can def see that Aw shucks thing in Archie. I mean he still looks like he's twelve and should be running around on the playground and pulling pgtails or whatever.

So... I am probably dense but Adam is with Brad? That would explain things, as for a really long time I thought that was another guy from the show, and as I know nothing about the canon it took until someone posted about the top ten and I realized there was no Brad! (This is another reason I should actually read before I start shipping. I thought Kim Callwell was actually Kim Stewart ... Rod Stewart's daughter? I have no idea how I made that jump.) I have heard he was his best friend, but I have been curious.

Well from what I can figure out (I haven't gone to much into the non fandom background of this because that way lies stalkerdom) Drake is Adam's boyfriend. They were dating for maybe 6 months before the show and he came out to see Adam perform and sat with the parent (mortifying!). Brad is Adam's ex who he dated for, I think, a year or more. It sounds like maybe he's the 'one time' Adam was in love before but it didn't work out. ::sad face::

Are you maybe being dragged into the fandom yet? As cute as the Davids are I think you need time away from them ::nods:: and Adam is always ready to play. ;-P

Well you can tell how on top of my canon I am. ;) But yea... I am kind of curious about the fandom, I have to admit. I seriously am nursing a weird crush on Kris, similar to my not-crush on Archie... where mostly I just want to pinch his cheeks and listen to him talk about his happily ever afters. I don't know if I will ever be brave enough to write Adam though, to be honst, because omg. He is levels of cool I would never ever be able to reach... I was daunted by Cook even when he admitted to being a word nerd. The only thing for him that helped is that he cries like a 15 year old and I love that... but Adam is witty and well read and... well. A little daunting. ;)

But I have learned that when I say something isn't going to happen then it totally does, so who knowS? ;)

LOL! Kris is totally adorable isn't he. I do think he's got a bit more of a sense of humour and it's coming out now he has more confidence in himself.

I know what you mean about Adam. His cool is like whoa. Though I think Writing-Adam-101 pretty much means adding 'Oh sweetie' somewhere in a sentence and you're onto a winner.

And, I fully endorse any further forays you may take into AI fandom... :D
