ladyoflisquillPick five of your favourite shows*, in no particular order, before you read the below questions, then answer them!
Current or just-finished shows only, 'kay?
1. True Blood
2. Stargate Atlantis

5. Doctor Who/Torchwood
* I'm actually surpised at how difficult it was to pick only five. I had to cut Merlin, Being Human, Glee (I can't resist a good musical number), CSI, Supernatural and perhaps at a push Dollhouse, not to mention the older shows I love.
01. Who's your favourite character in 2?
SGA: God, again it's difficult to narrow this down. I like so many characters for so many different reasons. I loved Elizabeth as the leader and I was really sorry they couldn't resolve that story as they wanted. I think Teyla was wonderful for the whole five seasons in every way, shape and form, especially in The Queen. Cadman made me smile so damn much and I would have loved to have seen more of her. Carson I liked until he died and I'm sure I actually cried at the end of that ep but clone!Carson I wasn't as much of a fan of. But as for my favourite... I'm going to have o go with the cliche of the McShep pair. The episodes that were missing one or both of them for the majority just felt off. AND the chemistry and banter they had was brilliant.
02. Who's your least favourite character in 1?
True Blood: Um, at the moment probably Marie-anne. Her whole storyline has been boring me for a few eps now.
03. What's your favourite episode of 4?
NCIS: Argh, god! This is kinda impossible but I only saw Requiem for the first time this week and it was fantastic. Both for the Gibbs storyline and for Tony diving in to save his boss (and give him CPR ::snigger::)
04. What's your favourite season of 5?
DW/TW: I knew I'd regret putting those two together. I did love TW's Children of Earth but Doctor Who's Season 4 has to win for the simple reason of being full of the awesomeness of Donna.
05. Who is your favourite ship in 3?
UST: Ohhhhh, haven't really thought about that. Canon ship would have to be the son, Marshal (Moosh), and his "friend" Jason (even though it broke my heart at the end). Fanon pairing is probably Buck and Max with Buck on top. LOL!
06. Who is your antiship in 2?
SGA: As in who would I hate to see together? Hmmm, fandom has kinda dulled my sensitivity on this... I guess Sam and Rodney because I think by this stage canonically they've grown passed that.
07. How long have you watched 1?
TB: Well my friend gave me the first season and a half when I had Tonsilitis so... about two and a half weeks but believe me it's brilliant!
08. How did you become interested in 3?
UST: Toni Collette is in it. 'Nuff said.
09. Who's your favourite actor/actress in 4?
NCIS: I really do love them all so much and I don't think I can say that about many other shows. If I had to pick... um Mark Harmon, no, Pauley Perette because not only does her acting rock but so does her politics.
10. Which do you prefer: Show 1, 2 or 5?
Right now, 1 True Blood. I need my V fix!
11. Which show have you seen more episodes of, 1 or 3?
Well I've seen all eps of both so True Blood.
12. If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?
NCIS: I kinda want to be as tough as Gibbs but when it brakes down to it Abbey rocks my socks every time.
13. How would you kill off your favourite character in 1?
TB: This is kinda a cheat since he's already dead so I don't have to kill him. Oh and it's Eric of course.
14. Give a random quote from 1?
TB: Queen Sophie-Anne [about Bill and Eric]: "All this alpha-male posturing. Why don't the two of you just f**k each other and get it over with? I could watch." And fangirls everywhere clapped in delight!

DW on SGA: LOL! Okay well it has to be the Doctor.. or maybe Jack. He can try to woo John and get bitchslapped by Rodney for "touching my man!" that will lead to much blustering and John mumbling quietly "your man?" to which Rodney holds his chin high and says "yes". John can't think of anything to say in reply so he kisses him instead.
16. Would a 3/4 crossover work?
UST/NCIS: OMG Yes! Buck served in the marines in 'Nam and some crazy shit will happen, as it always does in the Gregson household and Buck will call in NCIS. More craziness ensues.
17. Pair 2 characters in 1 that would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple.
TB: Lafayette & Jason, because you know Lafayette is the only one who can give Jason the slap around the head when he needs it.
18. Has 5 inspired you in any way?
DW/TW: Strangely I think the Doctor has made me believe more in the humanity and compassion of the human race.
19. Overall, which show has a better cast, 2 or 4?
I think I have to say NCIS is better cast than SGA. I've nothing against SGA's casting I just think the actors on NCIS realy embody their characters well an it shows.
20. Which has better theme music, 3 or 5?
I like the UST music but DW theme tune is iconic so that has to win hands down.
