I saw this and was like: "where are all the lesbian movies?" and um, I still think that. I've seen a lot of those. You should see Big Eden, because that is the sweetest movie ever. *nods*

I really didn't like Adam and Steve that much, but I <3 Hedwig and the Angry Inch and TransAmerica (although I would argue that's a trans movie and not a gay movie). Rent was okay. Hmmm.

But I'm a Cheerleader is one of my favorite lesbian films.

Okay, this comment is all over the place. gonna stop typing now.

I know, right? There is like, one? but then this list comes from www.AfterElton.com and they are focused towards the male end of the scale. I'm hoping www.AfterEllen.com does a list too so I can find some lovely lesbian movies to entertain me too.

I was actually really surprised Adam & Steve was on here. I mean it wasn't bad (I've definitely seen worse) but I wouldn't count it in the top 50. Priest is definitely better.

I haven't watched either Hedwig or TransAmerica so really looking forward to them too. And I agree about it being a Trans movie. Sometimes I think people smudge the lines between LGBT to the extent that Trans and Bi issues aren't recognized or dealt with as well as they should be.
